Dominant Performance by Hart in Charleston Win
|
In a tight tilt between the Charleston Panthers and the San Angelo Mustangs, Travis Hart was the deciding factor. The Charleston left-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. The save went to Jimmy Johnson, his 2nd this season. The Panthers raised their record to 8-23.
Hart was in the zone, shutting down San Angelo hitters over 8 innings. Hart, who threw 93 pitches, allowed no runs on 4 hits. He also tallied 8 punchouts.
"Travis -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Panthers manager Harry Howell. "He was the key to us winning."
