The Nichols Gnats picked up a win at The Pond, topping the Memphis Blues, 6-2. On the mound for Nichols was right-hander Damian Camacho. He played a principal role in the triumph. Camacho, now 4-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 6, walking 4, and allowing 2 runs. Memphis, with the loss, is still a hardy 25-8.
