Sting Get 3-1 Win Versus Hazleton
The Houston Sting earned a close win over the Hazleton Birdwings, thanks in part to Danny Umanzor. The Houston right-hander, who is tied for 8th in the RHA in wins with 3, played a key role in the 3-1 victory. Houston reliever Danny Umanzor got the win, raising his record to 3-1. Dave Mayo was tagged with the loss. After today's action, Houston sits at 16-17, while Hazleton falls to 13-20.

Houston took a 3-1 lead on Tyler Foy's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Foy hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Hazleton pitcher Dave Mayo visibly frustrated.

"Makes our job easier," said Foy, "when our pitchers shut the opposition down."
