Lawmen Upend NoBos, 7-3
|
The Marshall Lawmen topped the Campo NoBos, 7-3, at Valhalla Summit. Marshall right fielder Ezequiel Ramos was a spark plug for the offense. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times. Rob Cataldo, the winner, is now 2-1. He struck out 4 and walked 8 over 6 innings, while allowing 3 runs on 5 hits. The NoBos, now 9-20, continue their inauspicious start.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Sterling Nixon? The Marshall left fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Lawmen on top, 3-0. For the game, Nixon had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Ramos.
