The West Island Jazz withstood an impressive performance by Mexico City designated hitter Kevin Stark to defeat the Luchadores, 4-3, at The Royal Grounds. Stark went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The second-place Jazz have won 4 consecutive games.

Kenny Cox had a direct impact on the outcome. Cox contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put West Island up, 4-0.
