Sasquatch Get Clutch Win Versus Jacksonville
|
The Seattle Sasquatch defeated the Jacksonville Pilots, 7-6, at Arnold Field. Charles McNeil, who is tied for 7th in the RCL in runs scored with 33, was a standout performer for Seattle. His 3 hits included 2 singles and 1 double -- this in addition to the 1 run he scored and 4 he knocked in. The Sasquatch saw their record improve to 25-19.
The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until McNeil delivered big-time for Seattle, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Kelvin Tolmie. The game-changing hit put the Sasquatch on top, 7-6.
"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said McNeil.
