Bill Lovett, who is tied for 9th in the THA in quality starts with 4, was in top form in a tight contest between Okanagan and Victoria. The Lake Monsters right-hander helped his team beat the Vikings, 2-1. Jorge Ramirez got the save, the 5th for him this season. The third-place Lake Monsters improved to 19-17.

Bill Lovett was masterful. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 8 innings.

"Bill was in attack mode the whole game," said Okanagan manager Landy Lu.
