Bush Wackers Drop 7-3 Decision
|
Chris Ferris had a hand in Bel Air defeating Brisbane by the score of 7-3. Ferris went 3 for 4 at the plate, scoring 1 times and driving in 2 runs. The win was credited to 21-year old right-handed pitcher Ernesto Nido in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Esteban Castaneda took the loss. The Princes, at 23-16, sit in first place in the RCL HA Tommy Lasorda Division.
The Princes got a big at-bat from third baseman Willie Castillo. For the game, Castillo went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Bel Air a 3-2 lead.
"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Castillo said.
