The Quebec Armada picked up a win at Lucky 7 Ballpark, downing the Eureka Hornets, 6-2. On the mound for Quebec was right-hander Raul Padilla, who played a pivotal role in the win. Padilla, who is rated as the 39th best prospect by BNN, went the distance for Quebec. He gave up 2 runs on 8 hits. The loss drops Eureka to 2-4.

Phil Peters had a big solo home run for the Armada in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Quebec leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Harley Lowrie and punished it.
