Led by 21-year-old Elijah Edwards, the Chippewa River Chiefs downed the St. Paul Saints, 10-7. Edwards went 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for Chippewa. The win went to Adam Josephson in relief, making him now 3-0. Rafael Valentin took the loss for St. Paul. The save was credited to Brad Dillinger, his 8th.

In the top of the eighth, the River Chiefs grabbed the lead when Edwards hit his 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Rafael Valentin made it 9-7, Chippewa.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Edwards.

The win lifted the Chippewa record to 23-15.
