Estrada Goes Wild, But Magicians Win
The Baltimore Magicians besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Chippewa center fielder Bobby Estrada by beating the River Chiefs, 8-7, at The Reservation. Estrada went 4-4 with a home run, 3 doubles, and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Baltimore pitcher Marco Reyes earned the win, hiking his record to 2-1. John Smirnov suffered the loss. The third-place Magicians improved to 18-19.

Steve Aultz had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth for Baltimore. With the bases loaded and the Magicians leading 7-3, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

Baltimore manager Jonathan Kelly was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
