St. Paul Jukes Past Ocala, 7-4
The Ocala Knights could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Ken Liberto into a win. Instead, the St. Paul Saints prevailed, 7-4. Liberto threw 6.2 innings allowing 2 runs. Shohei Kajiwara snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 2 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. The save went to Chris Hill, his 6th this season.

St. Paul used a timely hit from Jonathan Highsmith to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Saints ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"I know we have our doubters," said Ocala manager Alexis Coates. "But I still have high hopes for this team."

The victory puts St. Paul at 15-27.
