The Okanagan Lake Monsters topped the Chippewa River Chiefs by a score of 11-9 in 10 innings. Leading the way was left fielder Carl Churchill. Churchill went 4 for 7 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the Lake Monsters. Okanagan now has a record of 23-23 with the win.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Wilbert Howse came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Chippewa pitcher Adam Josephson, he hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Okanagan on top, 10-9.
