Victory Takes Knights to 21-19
|
Kingwood right fielder Pat Robb was a significant contributor in his team's 6-4 triumph over the Baltimore Magicians. He went 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Knights. The winning pitcher was Ricky Morales. He tossed 125 pitches over 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 9 hits. Eddie Albares closed it out for his 1st save.
With Kingwood trailing 4-3 in the top of the fourth, Robb hit a fastball from Edgar Galeano for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Knights ahead, 6-4.
"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Robb told the Kingwood Times.
The win for the Knights raised their record to 21-19.
