West Virginia Tags St. Petersburg with 3-1 Defeat
In a low-scoring contest between the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws and the St. Petersburg Pelicans, Chet Black was the X factor. The West Virginia right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Donzel Albertrani saved it for West Virginia. The Dancin' Outlaws improved their record to 25-27 by beating St. Petersburg.

Tim Barrett hit a 2-run triple off Javier Luna in the top of the sixth, which put the Dancin' Outlaws in front, 3-1. In addition to the triple, Barrett had 1 single and 2 walks, while going 2 for 2.

"That was a really good outing by Chet," said West Virginia manager Guy de Kleijn.
