Marauders Waste Great Game from Robinson III
The inspired effort of Maple center fielder Frank Robinson III was not enough to prevent a loss, 15-12, to the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners. Robinson III was 4-5 with 4 singles. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2. The winner was Tatsuhi Naki in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Allen Justice took the loss. Bryan Young earned the save, his 5th, for the Ridge Runners.

Antonio Paiz hit a 2-run double off Allen Justice in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Ridge Runners in front, 12-10. In addition to the double, Paiz had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Paiz said.

The third-place Ridge Runners improved to 29-25.
