San Angelo Makes Victoria 10-1 Losers
|
The San Angelo Mustangs coasted to a win over the Victoria Vikings, 10-1. Kyle Goodwin had a good day at the plate for San Angelo. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Tony Rentas, who is tied for 7th in the THA in complete games with 1, was the winner. He's now 1-7. The loser was Rod Vasquez. The Mustangs now have a record of 12-40.
Ricardo Nunez took Victoria hurler Rod Vasquez deep in the bottom of the first. His grand slam home run put the Mustangs on top, 4-1. In all, Nunez had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
