The Kingwood Knights picked up a win, 11-4, over the St. Paul Saints at Stable Park. Jimmy DeFranco led the charge. The Smyrna, Tennessee native was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 3 for Kingwood. Heriberto Leon earned the win. Iukekini Makuakane took the loss for St. Paul. The Knights improved their record to 27-22 by beating St. Paul.

With the clubs tied 3-3 in the bottom of the fifth and the bases loaded, Kingwood sent DeFranco to the plate. He got a 3-0 changeup and drew a walk, driving in 1 run, to put the Knights on top, 4-3.

"I just try to be a dog, have good swings, good at-bats," said DeFranco.
