Ridge Runners Stay Hot, Beat Marauders, 6-4

Wet weather did not postpone the Eagle Rock-Maple ballgame.
Eagle Rock right-hander Miguel Arroyo pitched his team to victory over the Maple Marauders at Ozark Mountain Stadium. The final score was 6-4. Eagle Rock has now won 6 games in a row.
The Ridge Runners got a big at-bat from left fielder C.J. Parrish. For the game, Parrish went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Eagle Rock a 3-0 lead.
"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Arroyo.
