Ryan Miller could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Moonbeam Martians lost, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Oconomowoc Five O's at Arnold Field. Guillermo Guajardo claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. His record stands at 2-1. Stephen Lowry nailed down the save.

Tom Beverly, who is tied for 3rd in the THA with a .662 slugging percentage, took Moonbeam hurler Ryan Miller deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 2-run home run put the Five O's on top, 2-1. In all, Beverly had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"Tough loss," said Moonbeam manager Daniel Wilson. "But that's how the cookie crumbles."

Oconomowoc is rocking and rolling at 41-18.
