The Brownsville Bandits beat the San Antonio River Bandits, 6-1, at Dr Pepper Stadium. Jayden Fowler went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The 18-year old third baseman was a menace to San Antonio all day. The winning pitcher was Franklin Lucero. He tossed 82 pitches over 5.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits.
