Miguel Ramos was outstanding against Brownsville. The right-hander had a curveball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Thunder 4-3 win. Rod Morin earned save number 8 this season. The loss makes Brownsville 23-33.

In the bottom of the third, Skyler Linder delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Elizabeth Town right fielder hit a 2-run single, putting the Thunder in front, 4-3.

"Miguel was throwing strikes, locating well," said Elizabeth Town manager .
