Chris Davis was a major contributor to the 13-6 St. Paul win over St. Petersburg. The Saints right fielder went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 5. The save went to Susumu Kimura, his 1st this season. The losses continue to mount for St. Petersburg, which has now dropped 7 in a row.

St. Paul used a clutch at-bat from Justin Stadtlander to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Saints ahead, 8-4. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We're going through a bad spell," said St. Petersburg manager Gilbert Drader.
