The Milwaukee Millers and Dallas Texans left the fans buzzing.

Dallas turned a fine outing from starter Bobby Gilmore into a victory over the Milwaukee Millers at Metroplex Park. The final score was 8-0. Gilmore picked up the win for Dallas, going 8.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0.

Dallas third baseman Eric Johnson contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a cutter to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 42nd hit of the season and put the Texans ahead, 3-0.
