Princes Bridle River Bandits, 2-1
|
In a low-scoring game between the Bel Air Princes and the San Antonio River Bandits, pitcher Ernesto Nido was masterful on the mound. The Bel Air right-hander spearheaded his team's 2-1 win. The Bel Air win streak is now 3 games.
Bel Air used a timely hit from Justin Breda to get the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Princes ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said San Antonio skipper Lemn Onkwani.
