The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws got a marvelous performance from pitcher Chris Sipes. The right-hander kept the Marshall offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 6-1 West Virginia victory at The Cell. The Dancin' Outlaws win now puts them at 42-22.

West Virginia used a clutch at-bat from William Bowman to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Dancin' Outlaws ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We had a nice day," said West Virginia skipper Guy de Kleijn.
