Bollard Slugs Magicians to 8-6 Win
The Baltimore Magicians beat the St. Paul Saints, 8-6, at Saints Ballpark. Bill Bollard, in particular, was impressive. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice. Baltimore reliever Cesar Figueroa picked up the win to move to 4-1. Ricardo Reyes suffered the loss. The Magicians improved their record to 38-27 with the win over St. Paul.

With Baltimore trailing 1-0 in the top of the third, Bollard hit a fastball from Ricardo Reyes for a grand slam home run. It was his 19th home run of the season and put the Magicians ahead, 4-1.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Magicians manager Jonathan Kelly. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
