Paterson Homers Twice in 11-10 Win
The Ocala Knights managed to get by the Carmel Apples, 11-10, at BLM Stadium. Ocala designated hitter Larry Paterson set himself apart with his performance. The Knights move to 33-31 with the win, while the Apples drop to 44-18.

Ocala won the game in part because of Joe White. The third baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Knights ahead, 2-0. For the game, White had 2 doubles and 2 home runs in 6 at-bats.

"Fun game," said White, "even when the outcome was in doubt."
