San Antonio right fielder Aaron Elting was instrumental in helping the River Bandits triumph, 7-5, over the Brownsville Bandits. Elting slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Rusty Campbell closed the game out for San Antonio, earning his 16th save. San Antonio raised its record to 37-30 with the win.

Todd Peacock delivered a big hit for San Antonio. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the River Bandits ahead, 7-5. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Peacock told the San Antonio Observer.
