Moonbeam Makes It 6 Straight with 9-6 Win
The Moonbeam Martians knocked off the Nichols Gnats, 9-6, at The Pond. Paul Paolini hit 1 single and 1 double, while driving in 4 runs. Rich Blaquiere closed it out for his 6th save. At 74-13, the Martians find themselves in first place in the RCL HA Dusty Baker Division.

Moonbeam used the timely hitting of Humberto Blanco to capture the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Martians on top, 9-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.
