Princes Pull Out Late-Game Win, 3-2
|
The Bel Air Princes downed the San Angelo Mustangs, 3-2, in 10 innings at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium. Andrew Hanrahan led the way, going 3-for-3 for Bel Air. With the win over San Angelo, the Princes improved to 33-40.
Hanrahan had a game-changing triple in the top of the tenth. On a 0-1 fastball from Ernesto Luna, he banged a run-scoring triple to right, giving the Princes a 3-2 lead. It was the 3rd triple of the year for Hanrahan.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said San Angelo manager Trey Burrell.
