Bel Air shortstop Danny Soto had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Chippewa River Chiefs, 6-2. Josh Melton closed it out for his 25th save. The second-place River Chiefs dropped to 52-34.
With Bel Air leading 3-2 in the top of the fifth, Soto hit a fastball from Diego Pais for a bases-clearing double. It was his 13th double of the season and put the Princes ahead, 6-2.
"Winning is contagious," said Soto. "We're looking forward to the next game."
