Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Ottawa Civics take on the Victoria Vikings.

Behind the hitting of Sam Spurr, the Ottawa Civics stopped the Victoria Vikings, 6-3. Spurr slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Civics.
