Barrels Take Home 2-1 Win Over Brownsville
|
In a well-pitched game between the Niagara Falls Barrels and the Brownsville Bandits, pitcher Chris Cohen was fantastic. The Niagara Falls right-hander helped his team secure the win, 2-1. The Barrels raised their record to 34-48.
The Barrels got a big at-bat from first baseman Jairo Soto. For the game, Soto went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Niagara Falls a 2-0 lead.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Cohen.
