Keough Hands Moonbeam 2-1 Loss
|
Abbey Stadium was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.
The Oconomowoc Five O's got a magnificent effort from pitcher Ryan Keough, who kept Moonbeam hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Five O's win at Abbey Stadium. Hamilton Thomas was credited with the save, his 19th in 21 tries.
Keough gave Oconomowoc his best effort. The skinny right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 8 innings.
"Ryan had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Oconomowoc manager Evan Thorne.
Oconomowoc has rattled off 14 straight wins.
