Behind a fine performance from Nathan Snook, the Chippewa River Chiefs knocked off the Elizabeth Town Thunder, 10-3. Snook belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the River Chiefs. With the victory, the River Chiefs upped their record to 47-38.

Chippewa used a well-timed hit by Mike Devine to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the River Chiefs ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Snook.
