Memphis got a strong outing from Steve Hart as the Blues defeated the Okanagan Lake Monsters, 7-2, at The Barn. With the win, Memphis raised its record to 70-31.

Randy Haines drove in one run for Memphis. The 22-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Jeremy Villoresi. It was his 22nd RBI of the season.

Haines called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
