The Warriors grabbed a win, 4-2, at The Nut House, overcoming a fine effort from Houston pitcher Cris Suarez. Suarez went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win was credited to Alex Cubias in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Victor Merino took the loss. With the win, the Warriors sit at 52-42.
Moose Jaw right fielder Ivan Aranda contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 97th hit of the season and put the Warriors ahead, 4-2.
Moose Jaw manager José Soto called it "a darn good win."
