Rich Van Fleet knocked in 3 runs to help Mexico City beat Bighorn, 9-4. Van Fleet produced 2 singles, 1 double, and 1 home run. Corey MacIndoe earned the win, while 24-year old left-handed pitcher Tristan Cooperman took the loss for Bighorn. The 4th-place Luchadores go to 28-31.

Mexico City used the timely hitting of Kevin Knox to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Luchadores on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Let's just say I'm happy we won," said Van Fleet. "There are a lot of people in the clubhouse who like to whine too much when we lose."
