NoBos Tuck Away 6-3 Win Over Baltimore
|
NoBos center fielder Juan Guzman left his imprint on his team's 6-3 win over the Baltimore Magicians. Guzman was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Campo in the contest. Picking up the win was Jayden Bibbs. He went 8.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits. The right--hander struck out 7 and walked 1. The Magicians, now 63-48, have lost 4 straight.
With Campo trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the third, Guzman hit a fastball from Cesar Figueroa for a grand slam home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the NoBos ahead, 4-2.
"We didn't get the results that we wanted," said Baltimore skipper Teruo Sato.
