The Charleston Panthers and Kingwood Knights left the fans buzzing.

The Kingwood Knights got a stellar performance from pitcher Heriberto Leon, who handcuffed the Charleston offense en route to a win, 7-1, at Stable Park. Leon picked up the win for Kingwood, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 10-4.

The Knights got a big at-bat from catcher Salvador Guzman. For the game, Guzman went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 20th home run of the season gave Kingwood a 2-1 lead.

"Our offense was purring," said Kingwood manager Kazuki Yamamoto. "Like a well-oiled machine."

The win lifted the Kingwood record to 58-53.
