Brian Cranston exploded for a barrage of base hits at Saints Ballpark.

The San Angelo shortstop had a field day in his team's 19-4 triumph over the St. Paul Saints, finishing 5-for-6.

"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."

Cranston must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Brian Cranston flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Danny Guerrero in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Rafael Guillen in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.

Thus far in 2062, Cranston is hitting .378 with 8 home runs, 21 RBIs, 13 runs scored and has compiled a .465 OBP.
