The Moose Jaw Warriors beat the Brisbane Bush Wackers, 7-4, at Baylor Ballpark. Moose Jaw shortstop B.J. Dawson, who is tied for 10th in the RHA in doubles with 24, collected 2 singles and 1 double with 2 RBI. Reliever Alex Cubias picked up the win. His record improves to 4-0. Jose Ortegon, who is tied for 10th in the RHA in strikeouts with 128, took the loss. Moose Jaw now sports a record of 62-53.

Moose Jaw used a well-timed hit by Malik Simpson to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Warriors ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Dawson told the Moose Jaw Times.
