Beau McCann led the Hazleton Birdwings to a nifty 9-2 win over the Elizabeth Town Thunder. The Hazleton third baseman was a force of nature. He banged out 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. The Birdwings have a one-game lead in the RCL A Tommy Lasorda Division.
