Eugene left fielder Ian Lamb made his presence felt in the 13-5 Emeralds triumph over the Houston Sting. Lamb went 2-3 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The Emeralds go to 36-63 with the win.

In the bottom of the second, 22-year old center fielder Miguel Colon hit a 2-run triple. The 5th triple of the season for the Eugene shortstop put the Emeralds on top, 2-0.

"We're producers not directors," said Lamb. "Produce a good swing. Can't direct where it goes."
