Barrels Dealt 3-1 Home Loss
|
The Bel Air Princes used a great performance from Jesus Arguello, who is tied for 2nd in the RA in holds with 10, to beat the Niagara Falls Barrels, 3-1, at Horseshoe Park. Josh Melton picked up the save for Bel Air, his 9th of the year. Bel Air is now 45-59.
The Princes benefited from a costly error in the top of the eighth. With Danny Soto at bat and Bel Air leading 2-1, the Niagara Falls miscue allowed Bel Air to plate 1 and take the lead, 3-1.
"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Soto told the Bel Air Chronicle. "But we take nothing for granted."
