The Ocala Knights topped the San Angelo Mustangs, 5-1, with youngster Octavio Almonte playing a key role. Almonte was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Knights in the win. With the win, Ocala goes to 60-61, while the Mustangs fall to 26-95.

The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth when Almonte hit a 2-run home run. It thrust the Knights into the lead, 3-1.

San Angelo manager Luis López, after yet another defeat, said: "Guys need to step up. Pronto."
