Pelicans Lose as NoBos Stage Late Rally
The St. Petersburg Pelicans got a sterling performance from pitcher Joel Holt, but the Campo NoBos still prevailed, 7-3. Holt threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The 4th-place NoBos bumped their record to 53-70.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Wilber Locke came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing St. Petersburg pitcher Victor Martinez, he hit a 1-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Campo on top, 4-3.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Locke told the Campo Chronicle. "Whatever it takes."
