Houston Beats Brownsville in 10-Inning Thriller
The game ended in walk-off fashion, much to the delight of the home crowd.

The Houston Sting went home winners at Bandits Grove, thanks in large part to starter Steve Thomas. Thomas stifled the Brownsville Bandits, enabling Houston to grab the 4-1 win. David Hobson earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 4-1.

Julio de la Cruz had a direct impact on the outcome. de la Cruz contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the tenth inning to put Houston up, 2-1.

"I like the fight in this team," said Sting manager Barnabé Bacm.

Houston is in 6th place in the RCL A Tommy Lasorda Division with a record of 48-60.
