Oconomowoc Wins, 5-4, Over Lake Monsters
|
The Oconomowoc Five O's scored a tight, 5-4 win versus the Okanagan Lake Monsters at Arnold Field. Oconomowoc pitcher Matt Farnsworth held his own in the contest. The Five O's lead the TML HA Dick Williams Division by 4 games.
The decisive blow was delivered by Doug Escamilla in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 21-year old right-handed pitcher Jorge Ramirez to win the game for Oconomowoc. The home crowd went nuts.
"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Farnsworth said in his postgame press conference.
